Nice, did you paint it? With what?

my 7 mm ones are ok, but the wall thickness is more noticeable.

and I didn’t get the paint to look like galv, which yours definitely does.

I’d love to have a go in 7mm…

I presume you saved your 3D model as a printable file, (STL?) so it can be scaled on the print machine?

Any buckets I have seen in use on an engine have had dents and bashes from being dropped or from tools being chucked into them. That bucket of yours has to stay as new or have some evidence of use before dirtying down!

I bought another Modelu figure which arrived on Thursday. Out with the saw...... I had planned for it to go on the layout, but to be honest, I think it's probably overkill, and I shall leave it off. I shall finish it and automate it though. Servo to the head and one of my point motor thingies for the arm. The internal linkage is entirely enclosed with nothing visible.
