The wiring was really good as well !

I'm glad we entertained and gave people obvious enjoyment.

Tony

It was indeed Tony. Without your considerable efforts over the last 3 years, no loco would have moved, no point would have changed, and no signal would have worked. It's a tribute to Tony's work that the layout was able to be dismantled and remantled again without any gremlins. Nothing failed, nothing went wrong.

Errrr, how do we put it back together Tony?

It was great there I was standing on top of my push bike staring over the wall watching the trains brilliant
Ok, ok, so you rode your bike all the way from the Medway towns to do some gricing... how did Heather get to the show then?

:oops::oops: I thought 11/10 was a bit like 110%... a good sound-bite for Football Managers but actually technically an impossibility.... :D

Hi

Long time no post!

After Aylesbury, the layout was just shut away and we had 6 weeks off as a rest and a reward for all the effort put in before the show.

The layout was reassembled, the room in which it lives tidied, and we have spent the last month or so making sure the layout is tickety-boo for the BRM photoshoot next week.

We have been adding bits of 'clutter', more gardening, plant pots, some cats etc. Roger added a bit of a queue in the station office and when we put the building back in place, he realised you could see right through to the loco crew in the C13 in the bay. So I took the following photo 'through the door', and it came out pretty well.

Easily the best layout at RailEx and this photograph is superb. It tells an ordinary story that is totally convincing with not a glossy "film star" in sight! When are you out again?
