Suggesting, horror of horrors this might not be a diorama at all. But might actually be a working layout at some point.

I think you might find it isn't. There are three tracks leading to two different fiddleyards on this layout and these tracks arent any of them!

Another day of encouraging the weeks to grow....

The end of the line looks more like it has been the end if the line for some time now.

Whereas the view from an upstairs window sees one of Hull 1968 allocation (at least it will be when I number it) idling between duties.

Yeah, and the first one that tries it gets the job of rebuilding the hand made crossing gates.

With the addition of a bit more highlighting and aging to the woodwork of the sleepers and oil stains on the main running line the trackwork is now featuring the past its best look we intended from the start.

Fingers crossed it all still works......

Rippers (and fellow modellers in 'ull) excellent work as always, never fails to impress me. Also ,as a rugby union fanatic, what a challenge cup final today! Both sides played with such passion. Superb.

I agree, Rog. The best League match all season in a season with some superb rugby.

Cheers. I am the only Red and White supporter in the group. Definitely one of the best games I have seen recently. Shame it has to finish on the golden point these days. Regardless of the result I would have liked to see both sides in a full replay like it used to be.

I'm neutral, Rippers. I'd have been equally satisfied if Hull had won. It was the quality of the match that had me (and Mrs D) fixed to the box for an exhausting couple of hours. The trouble with a replay is that could be drawn too. Maybe an extra 15 minutes each way and then the golden point.
