After some indecision as to whether I should go or not I've just bought my advance ticket online.

Unable to print it though as I've rather inconveniently run out of cyan ink

I'll be airbrush and compressor hunting

Must be flying on one of those cheap airlines, like Cyan air.

(See what I did there? At least cyan is sort of blue.)

Listen carefully and you will hear the sound of a coat being taken from a coat-peg...

I'm just going to show them the email on the iPhone along with my member card. Can't be doing with printing stuff  :))

At the spring show at Kettering the queue was very long and I just bypassed it having pre-booked...... Sunday at Guildex may be different as it should be quieter.

Last time I went to Guildex I think it was at Bletchley... quite a few years ago

The first Guildex I attended was at the St Johns Hotel Solihull the best part of some considerable time ago where I ran a scratch built Adams radial on the test track. However, this year I shall mostly be buying Pheonix Figures from S&D on Saturday. How life changes!! ;D

Yes, I remember it at Bletchley, and I can safely say hurrah for Telford!

That's not a phrase you will often hear, outside of G0G circles!

I lived in Oxford then, so about the same distance. But unless things have changed dramatically Telford is better that the 60's wilderness of Bletchley, and yes I know that is like being caught between a rock and a hard place  :))

my first Guildex was at Slough in the late 70s? when I was living in Farnham and still there for Bletchley and the start of Telford, probably a much better run to Telford now from the Wirral - and no Motorways to have to use either

cheers
