I cant help thinking that the left hand window could do with rotating a couple of degrees
I agree that there is something not quite tickety-tiffin-boo about the brass window frames. Suggest that you look at the prototype photos and decide how the top of the window frames run in relation to the roof edge... and how the bottom of the window frames run in relation to the lip in front of the windows.

Try this I think the eye is being thrown ouit by the out of square windows see if this is better

It's a lot closer unfortunately there is not very much more that can be done to move them. It's the centre window it needs re-doing. the windows either side are correct they do have a different angle to the roof line, ALA

Even with the camera looking up at the front the windows lean down at the top ends

Yes, I can see the dilemma in getting the window frames placed correctly. You seem to have got the Left Hand window - as I look at the head-on photo of the model - pretty well there. Now that the LHS is satisfactory the eye is drawn to the RHS where that frame does seem to slant down to the bottom right hand corner.

Hi mate,

Can i just say, I think the middle window doesnt match up with the bottom. maybe move slightly to the left, as we look at it. Or is it my tired eyes ?.

Steve you could have a point but that has opened another can of worms. Look how thick the vertical spars under the horizontal bar (under the windows) are I think that they could do with loosing about a 1mm from their thickness

Got an idea - can you take a photo of the model from the same angle as those trackside front shots? Might show up the gremlin....:)
