Phil,
I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread but would like to let WT members know a little more about Pete.

Pete is Peter Insole. He is or certainly was a member of the Guild of Railway Artists. He is a really gifted artist and has, over the years, produced many paintings of railways and London Transport in and around East London. His work has to be seen to be believed. We are very lucky to have him as a member of the East Anglian S7 Group where we keep him occupied painting on Love Lane. Apart from painting he is also a very accomplished architectural modeller and to cap it all a thoroughly nice person. Please follow the link to see a short biography and a couple of examples of his artistic work.

Looking good Phil, but is there a prototype for the 8mph speed restriction? I ask, because I've only ever noticed them in increments of 5mph.

Looks great Phil, now if you can do one with flat top Windows and doors and no chimney & post it to me!!
I like the flashing I usually do that with some Tamia masking tape

Taking a break from some projects I thought I'd go back to this little building.

Quite straight forward except that the angled bricks had me stuck and stalled the project. Filing didn't produce consistent results and I couldn't really expect to make a kit that required so much careful work to make a good result.

At christmas I was lucky to receive a small routing table. Several failed attempts I think I had some success today.

Had a go with a fireplace.

Lovely little hut. Do you do the weighbridge itself as I will need one, but with a tin hut. Also could you say where it is as I am intrigued with the house styles behing it. They look familier.

Hi Pete, yes I do just the weighbridge plate. This building is on the GCR but the exact location escapes me, I think Oxfordshire. I will let you know if I remember!
