I'm at Pickering (NYMR) this Saturday.........hoping they are short of kettles again though so the diesels can come out to playThanks guys -
Phil - its a DJH kit, built by Allen Hammet. generally seen on Dave Wellingtons Hollowbeck layout - we are at the Pickering show 18th Aug so it will be there.
Telford - yes - assembling a list of wants!
Stunning Tony, love the smokebox !!!.I couldn't resist posting this, although none of the work is mine. The 04/8 was built by Allen Hammet for Dave Wellington, and is resting in a siding on the superb Nafferton layout built by Marcus Woodcock. The loco was built from the combination of a Gladiator 04/7 and DMR B1 parts. As it is so good, I have asked Allen to build me one! The guys are writing up the build for the Gazette I believe.

Hi Mike,
Built at Brighton for LNER, well you can't get everything right can you. Guilplates came up trumps with the worksplates because they are 4 lines on them rather than the usual two or three. They read LNER, BUILT, SR, 1944.
Thanks guys - if you could spare a couple Martyn, that would be great!
