And different chairs too; should be S1-J which are larger than the standard S1 chair to provide more support at the rail joint. See http://www.shapeways.com/model/461837/s1-j-joint-chairs-16.html if you want some.Well spotted! They are wider sleepers as they would be on the prototype around the rail joints.
You could be JLTRT and build shorter panels... LNWR pre 1895 was 30'0", GWR was 44'6" circa 1900 and 45'0" not long after.... other railways/other lengths were available (cue a new PW resources topic).Mind the first can be negated as I liked Phils idea of just making 60' lengths (JLTRT) and storing them ready for use, I'd put them on my Bolster C but for two reasons, it's not built yet LOL and it's too short, which begs the question, what did BR use to transport 60' sections of track?
Tsk, tsk... please remember the only rule that matters, "play nicely".... maybe it's the chairs way of saying you should of gone 32mm f/s...
and some oil / grease / gunge around the fishplates .Ballasting done.... Just need to tone it down and maybe add some foliage..
Not sorted yet. I've had that 47 a long time and its seen no use, but it is impossible to remove the wheels to convert them without destroying the bogies. Something will come along and I'm in no rush or need to sell it.Did you ever get your 47 sorted it seemed a shame to sell it
