Phil, Im starting a new project, Swansea East Dock, I'm going to need the coaling stage and the engine shed done if you fancy it.
Coaling stage should be easily adapted with a tank on top to fit in your standard range. This is one of the unusual cases where there was a separate water tower.

I like the first photos and the last photos. The first photo shows the full wagons going beyond the coaling stage with the doors closed (as you would expect, may be ten in the whole rake).
Then the last shot, showing two wagons with the doors down on the incline, I'm not sure if these wagons have been part emptied in the coal shed and had the doors closed (I'm saying this as I don't think that the wagons could come out of the coal hole with the doors running on the floor) and brought out to have the doors dropped, so that next two wagons could have there two part loads removed, and then these two wagons shunted back in and the rest of the load removed, then the next two would work like this and so on.

I also like the number of fire irons against the wall, that would be used for fire dropping etc.

I was recently asked if I could design a building around etched brass windows. I said sure, but why not laser cut the windows so they match the prototype? The reply I received was that they didnt want lasered windows as they wanted windows that can be modelled with openings.

So I bring you laser cut windows with openings :)

How have you done that Phil? Is the opening frame a separate component, or have you not quite fully lasered through the hinge axis of the window, allowing the remaining ply to act as a hinge?

Very often they would open inwards supported on metal quadrants (basically a curved piece of metal, fitted to the top of the frame opening, on both sides).
Outside opening sashes could be top hung and have to have a straight top edge.

That could be a view from the inside - hence no brickwork detail? ;)

The weighbridge is a vast improvement on your prototype and really couldn't get any better (other than maybe holes for lifting eyes) - are you now able to easily process other designs for cutting (e.g. maufacturer's name, size etc)?

I thought about those, but was too lazy to do them. I'll add them in :)

I made it as a separate component. I like the idea of a hinge but I think it would be tricky to pull off.
